One foot in and one foot out…
I don’t know much about code. I couldn’t tell you about the latest news on MySQL and I can’t rant about IE for hours. Social media is fascinating to me because of how quickly and efficiently it allows us to mobilize and communicate with people. As far as I’m concerned, we are playing with the greatest invention since the printing press.
I am also fascinated by many people who do not use social media. There are too many brilliant people in this world who are not Twitter and do not blog, and I want to draw energy from these brilliant people as well. My biggest fear is being trapped in this insular bubble that compels people to be internet celebrities. Good thought is good thought, no matter who congers it up.
So I guess I’m a geek incognito. Social media should extend beyond the computer screen…
